Fatum SG I only have one good suit .... but my others are all bangkok specials .... cheap, stylish, and good ..... you can actually mail order them now ... just have to find a tailor nice enough to take down all the measurements for you
Keii SG Actually. Nope. Most of my old clothes were given to me by my bro-in-law. Pretty much threw em away already. Since they're old and ragged. Clothes I wear now are mostly from friends. I buy some myself too lah. But not too much. Just buy a few variations. And mix and match.
honeymouse SG Another reason is men don't like shopping espeically clothes shopping. They will only do it when they need it. Women, on the other hand, like buying clothes generally regardless if they need them or not.

Fatum SG well .... suits are as common as shirt and tie here mah .... in singapore, it's a bit stupid to wear a suit in the tropical heat ... so most occasions a shirt and tie would do ....... but here it's expected ... even many school events are explicitly "formal" ....
viciouskitty74 SG tailor shirts & pants always looks expensive when they are not. They are so much more nicer looking then those branded off the shelves stuffs. I was spoilt. Ever since I ever tailored working shirts from CYC Singapore....I can never buy those off the racks shirt anymore Especially my ex hub. He was so hard to shop for. So finally we went to those cheapo tailors at City Plaza. the result was beautiful. Except for once, he tailored a suit to wear for working trips overseas. And I was not there with him. The color he chose was exactly the color of the SIA airsteward blue. And he worked for SIA Engineering. To him....the stewards are all fags. So imagine his sheepishness when he saw that final product. He never ever wore that jacket and went and purchased a off the rack one to wear overseas. And that one gives his itches cos the material are so bad.
Keii SG I meant, even for those cheap, good quality stuff. I can't afford. Only cause the money I earn is enough for transport and food. And I mean lotsa food.
